A viral Japanese ad for Van Houten Cocoa is paying tribute to working moms.
In the ad, working moms describe their vision of “the ideal mother” and compare it to their own parenting experiences. In contrast to the ideal mother, the moms interviewed say they feel like they’re always in a rush, questioning themselves and wishing they smiled more.
Then, in a move reminiscent of a 2013 viral video from Elevation Church, the moms watch videos of their own children describing them. The kids use words like “smiling,” “gentle” and “always on my side.”
